The Progresstech specialists has developed the project documentation for installation of airfield surveillance radar system (ASR) AORL-1AS at Kursk/Vostochny Airport. The radar system is scheduled for commissioning in 2016 to ensure the safe operation of the civil aircraft.
The General Contractor and Customer of the project on replacement of outdated and obsolescent existing radar equipment at Kursk/Vostochny Airport is CJSC “Aviatsionnoye Radiotechnicheskoye Oborudovaniye” (AviaRTO, Radio Navaids) involved in long-run and effective cooperation with Progresstech. Earlier on the AviaRTO's request the Progresstech specialists have carried out similar projects at Beloyarsky (EYK), Kogalym (KGP), Usinsk (USK), Kirensk (KCK), Ust-Kut (UKX) and Komsomolsk-on-Amur Khurba (KXK) Airports.
