Progresstech, Ltd. continues its efficient cooperation with PJSC AVTOVAZ. For the last two years a number of the HyperWorks software users at the Russian automobile giant has been appreciably increased owing to the dynamic assistance of Progresstech as a partner of software developer Altair Engineering.

In October and November of 2018 the Progresstech specialists rendered consulting services on the business process optimization support for two enterprises.

On August 6 the Progresstech Engineering Department started the two-month practical training program on engineering consulting services for the undergraduate students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Progresstech participated in the 1st Eurasian Route Development Forum NETWORK held in Kazan. The event is a unique communication platform for route network development for airlines and airports. The formal business program including conferences and roundtables was combined with the extensive negotiation program. The delegates could schedule an unlimited number of business meetings with other delegates on an individual basis to discuss various issues on their cooperation.

Progresstech, Ltd. has reached the contest final by presenting the project entitled “Development of the project information model of the new air terminal complex at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport” in the nomination “Information modeling technologies in design of real estate subjects” (“BIM-PROJECT”).

In May of 2018 the reputable worldwide corporation Alstom announced the GrabCAD challenge on optimization of the structural support of the underframe of the Barselona metro rolling stock. The challenge participants received the CAD-model of the frame as a source data and the task was to lighten the design of the structure and concurrently to decrease its value.

The Progresstech Design Department has completed developing of the project documentation on the expansion project of the existing apron for business aviation aircraft at Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO).

Commissioned on February 26, 2018 was Turkmenabat International Airport (Turkmenistan) which project has been developed by Progresstech.

On March 13 the Boeing executives presented a commemorative plaque to the Progresstech Group of Companies to commend it for the long-term efficient cooperation.

Progresstech has participated in the V National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS 2018), the industry platform for sharing the professional experience among the governmental officials, business community, suppliers of goods and services, technology transferors, representatives of airlines and airports.
