The Progresstech Test Laboratory has been successfully tested by the Federal Service on Accreditation (Rosakkreditastia) for technical competence and independence.

On December 8, 2015, the first 737 MAX was rolled out at Boeing's Renton, Washington factory. All who has been involved in and implemented the development program of the new jet airlner celebrated the end of its final assembly stage.

The Progresstech principal project engineers – Dmitry Lukin and Dmitry Bratko visited Inter Airport Europe 2015 which took place on October 6 – 9 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany.

In late September Ulyanovsk welcomed the TOP 100 Best Engineers of Russia contest. Its participants – corporate employees and undergraduate students from specialized colleges and universities who arrived from 30 regions of Russia should fulfill tasks for six hours in one of three nominations: Design, Development of Control Software for NC Machines, Engineering Graphics. Among the contestants were the specialists of such enterprises as JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, Ulyanovsk Design Bureau – branch of Tupolev PJSC, Russian Design Bureau of Russian Helicopters Holding, OJSC Kamov.

The contest jury selected 15 best engineers among 235 participants and only three became the winners ranked as “the very best”. And one of these three winners was Leonid Petuhov from Progresstech. If we follow Leonid's professional advance, we have every reason to say this is a classic example of young employees maturing in the company.

On October 1-2 Dubna, Moscow Region welcomed the VI all-Russian research-to-practice conference “Principles and Mechanisms of Creating National Innovation System” held in SEZ Dubna Congress Center. This year the event gathered over 300 Russian and foreign participants to discuss the key topic “Development of Cooperation in Major Hi Tech Projects”.

 

The Progresstech Airport Design Department has presented the project entitled “Concept of International Airport Terminal Using Spiral Ramp Pattern” at Young Professionals Innovation Competition, international airport infrastructure innovation competition organized by Airport Consultants Council (ACC).

On September 25 the Izhevsk assembly site being AvtoVAZ subsidiary unit started the serial production of LADA Vesta created on a completely new LADA B/C platform. Progresstech engineers have participated in the development of LADA Vesta design.

Progresstech Group of Companies exhibited at the 51st International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, the premier worldwide showcase for the aerospace industry that was held on June 15 – 21, 2015. The largest global aerospace manufacturers display the innovative products and services of the industry and hold splendid air shows. Also, among the Le Bourget exhibitors are the leading market players of the industry: manufacturers and suppliers of the advanced materials, components and parts, and numerous engineering companies.

On May 30 to June 6 the Progresstech delegation made a formal visit to the Federal Republic of Brazil. The delegation was headed by Nikolay Vasiliev, Progresstech Director General, and among its members was Artemy Minochkin, Design Department Principal Project Engineer.

It was for the second time that our specialists visited Brazil. The first visit was timed to AIRPORT INFRA EXPO 2014, Latin American Airport Infrastructure Seminar & Exhibition where the Progresstech delegates participated in the conference on development of the civil aviation and regional airport network in Brazil.
