On July 21 the Moscow Boeing office top management met its corporate partner representatives at the centennial celebration ceremony. The event was holdat the Ritz-Carlton Moscow.
Delivering the welcome speech Sergey Kravchenko, President, Boeing Russia/CIS noted that the Boeing Company, the company which has become the worldwide leader in aviation, has developed the world’s most well-known airplanes for commercial aviation, has been of primary importance in the civil space exploration, relies on its corporate partners in the course of its development. For almost a quarter of the Boeing century way Progresstech and Boeing have been tied by partnership relations. Our collaboration started in 1993 by theoretical study of interaction between multi-wheel landing gears and non-rigid pavements. The successful execution of the first project has been stimulated the versatile long-term cooperation.
For 23 years multiple projects and research and engineering works have been carried out, including experimental and theoretical studies on interaction between multi-wheel landing gears and airfield pavements, studies on impact of airfield pavement evenness parameters on landing gear fatigue life. A series of research studies has been accomplished on evaluation of roughness of airfield pavement surfaces to meet the ICAO standards in Russian and CIS airports for Boeing airplane operations. Also a project on the Boeing 777 landing gear certification has been performed.
Progresstech has been involved in the project on establishing new international air routes across the Arctic Ocean and Russian airspace from the North America to South-East Asia. The company was responsible for arranging the managerial and technical issues as regards the Extended Range Twin Engine Operations (ETOPS) on cross-polar routes.
In 1999 the Boeing Company selected Progresstech as its partner for engineering service activities, thus bringing our cooperation up to a new level which has been successfully developed up to the present. In 2013 Boeing honored Progresstech Group with its Supplier of the Year award in the Leader’s Choice – Alliance category in recognition of the efficient performance and contributions to the aerospace Boeing Company’s success.
