Progresstech has participated in the V National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS 2018), the industry platform for sharing the professional experience among the governmental officials, business community, suppliers of goods and services, technology transferors, representatives of airlines and airports.
At the show our company has presented a principally innovated approach for developing the project documentation on construction of the aviation infrastructure facilities using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. Displayed was BIM model of the new international air terminal complex at Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Airport where the Progresstech specialists are now involved in this air terminal construction. Visiting the joint stand of the airport and our company each attendee could examine the project – make a tour around the air terminal building and visit the arrivals and departures areas using the virtual reality tools. Also the visitors could see the air terminal complex model presented at the stand.
The event participants, industry professionals, other visitors as well as the officials of the Rosaviation and Ministry of Transport of Russia have shown a keen interest in the project.
