On August 6 the Progresstech Engineering Department started the two-month practical training program on engineering consulting services for the undergraduate students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
The experience gained by the students allows to consolidate the knowledge and learn more about the future profession peculiarities. The experienced tutors such as chief engineer Boris Trotsenko, deputy chief engineer Alexey Ivchin and other leading specialists shall give support and assist in successful training.
The practical training program includes:
- acquaintance with the aircraft designing fundamentals by analyzing the superlight aircraft as an example;
- study of fundamentals of the strength of materials and aircraft structural mechanics;
- study of the world aviation history;
- study of principles of the finite element method application for static analysis of the airframe parts and units;
- acquaintance with the fundamentals of preparation for stress analysis of light helicopter parts etc.
The program also comprises a series of graphical practical tasks to help the students in mastering MSC.PATRAN/NASTRAN and Altair HyperWorks.
The training shall become the first step for the students in their aerospace industry career. Such involvement of young people is one of the efficient ways for Progresstech to search for perspective employees and to create a personnel reserve.
