Progresstech, Ltd. continues its efficient cooperation with PJSC AVTOVAZ. For the last two years a number of the HyperWorks software users at the Russian automobile giant has been appreciably increased owing to the dynamic assistance of Progresstech as a partner of software developer Altair Engineering.
Conducted on November 12 – 13, 2018 was a master class of OptiStruct software usage for mathematical simulation department engineers at the AVTOVAZ Group corporate university. The main issue considered at the master class was the optimization at the initial design stage and optimization for the final development of products. Also electively reviewed were a new option of the multimodal optimization and new SimSolid software product thus providing a fast and accurate design calculation by applying the gridless methods.
